Agnes Bonnett, 92, died May 22 at Oakwood Nursing & Rehab Center
in Albia. Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 27,
at the United Methodist Church in Bussey, Pastor Jill Leveck
officiating. Burial: Pringle Cemetery. Visiting hours at Gilbert
Funeral Chapel in Bussey are 4-8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be
made to the family. Agnes Bonnett was born Jan. 10, 1912, to Albert and Laura (Turner) Vosburgh in Iconium. Agnes married Lloyd Bonnett of Bussey on Feb. 9, 1930. They farmed near Bussey until Lloyd died in 1980. She lived on the farm until moving to Oskaloosa in 1994. Survivors include two sons: Richard (Marilyn) of Grundy Center and James (Judie) of Albia; a daughter-in-law, Beverly of Arizona; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ida Boles of East Moline, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Delbert; three brothers: David, Edwin and Arthur; and a sister, Mary Fett. |
